CLINICAL YEARS BOOK REVIEWS

Pediatry:
Blueprints in Pediatrics This book is short enough to be a feasible reading after your tiring day at the hospital,
yet covers most important topics. Highly reccomended if complemented with a question-based review. |
Nelson Essential of Pediatrics
This book is great as a paper weight. It is too lenghty to be useful during the clerkship, yet too
superficial to be a reference textbook.
|
Appleton and Lange's Review of Pediatrics
Although lenghty, it can be read quickly because answers and explanations are short and to the point.
Good for its case-management chapter. Should be used a few days before the board or shelf exam after reading a text-based review. |
